Sea of Uncertainty

It's amazing how efficiently True Nature leads us deeper...if this is truly what we want

There are no mistakes- only a very well-designed, custom-made journey.

The past three months have been tough. The relative reality of my life has left me with very little to hold onto. And I see the beauty and invitation of that.

Because there has been so little to hold onto, the invitation to know myself, as the Beloved Presence, has gotten so much stronger. And even though there are challenges- big ones-the desire to go deeper is much more enticing. These big challenges-such as not knowing where I am going to live in two months, or if I will have a care I can drive-have left me floating in a sea of uncertainty. And this sea has become my home, my refuge.

Uncertainty is a great catalyst for change. Its when we get to really see we don't know how things are going to turn out. And rather than try to figure things out-from the level of mind- the opportunity to open to the Divine is much more obvious.

When all options fall away, there is only this doorway into our True Nature that reveals itself. And that can be unsettling when we do not have anything to hold onto. We choose to leave everything up to True Nature, so that we can put all our attention there. It leaves lots of loose ends dangling in the sea of Uncertainty, to work themselves out as True Nature sees fit.

This sea of uncertainty has become so enticing. I can see that my entire life has led up to this moment, when I am finally able to let go this much. I am thrilled, and grateful. And I can sense a touch of unsettledness beneath the surface. But that is to be expected. Because where this Life is going, is into an entirely new moment. Never before. And in this moment there is only Beloved Presence. It is all there is.

Fall in Love. Stay there.

Offering of everything

This gorgeous moment, this field of consciousness right here, wants to touch you deeply. Right where the pain is, right where the fear is, right where the tendency to defend, where it feels so tight.

This moment doesn't want you to run. It wants you to open...more. This field of Love doesn't want you to defend your position, it wants you to lose yourself to this moment.

The tendency to run or defend will never work. You cannot run away from yourself. Don't you see that? Only openness to this moment will transform your heart. This loving moment understands you, truly sees you, and knows you deeper than you could ever know yourself.

Lay down your sword. Lay in the sweet soft grass of Presence. Lay bare all your insecurities and fears. Share all of yourself with this Infinite Presence that sees everything about you. Know that there is no where to run, for all that you need, is already waiting for you here. Are you ready to stop and recognize this opportunity? Just remember, it will ask for all of you. It is a big risk to offer your soul. But hey, what else have you got going on?

It's all a set-up

The only thing Life wants from us is cooperation. There is a well-known saying in spiritual circles that goes something like this: "Life is taking care of you far better than you could ever imagine."

So, what does this mean? To me, it means that what it is that I want- more than anything else-which is to be in perfect alignment with all that is happening (on all levels), is being perfectly orchestrated by Life. If I get out of the way enough,  sooner or later what it is that I want more than anything else, will happen.

The only issue here, for most people, is that they are not perfectly clear what they want. They THINK they want the Truth, but when Life shows up in just the right way, these people don't really want the Truth. They only want their version of the Truth. They want Truth to be nice to them.

But Life is showing up anyways. And each moment it is giving us the perfect opportunity to SEE the invitation to be broken open, again and again. Resistance to this being broken open happens when we think we know how Life should be. And if we cant find Life fulfilling our expectations, then we look somewhere to place the blame. Life doesn't care. We can blame others, God or the universe for all the resistance and pain we feel in our being. Or we can open up. Its super simple, and if we start allowing this to happen, we will get better at it. We become masters at our own ability to leave Life alone, and just open to whatever is happening, be it pain, heartbreak or fear. Its all the same.

You see, Life itself is highly intelligent. And it knows how to open us up. It is also extremely patient. It has all of eternity to wait for us to stop all our resistance to it and start recognizing what is really happening. This is when we get to see if we really want Truth, or we just want things to feel good. But feeling good doesn't necessarily open us up. Only Life can do that. The nitty gritty of Life. And when we stop putting all the blame onto Life, it will show up in a different way, an open way. A way that is full of grace and Light. And when this happens more than resistance happens, our being begins to recognize that this is what we want. This is the Truth that we want to align with, because Grace feels so damn good. Not in a nicety, nice way, but in a blow-your-reality-away way.

Get out of the way of Life, so it can show you the Truth. Because if you think you know Truth, you are blocking the possibly of aligning with the unknowable.
